ABOUT THE COURSE
Class size: 4 dogs and owners max
For those who would love to be able to do a thorough wash and tidy of their dogs coats at home, this is the perfect one day course for you. We will take you through safe handling, the equipment that you will need to maintain your dogs coat in between grooms and the correct shampoos to use for your dog's coat type.
- How to bath your dog thoroughly and how to dry your dog and de-matt safely by combing through knots & tangles.
- How to tidy up your dogs sanitary area and safely trim fur away from it’s eyes
- How to clip your dogs nails and brush their teeth using a tooth brush and dog tooth paste.
- Drying techniques at home suitable for your breed
Coat specific grooming techniques
- How to get your curly coated dog soft and fluffy
- How to maintain long fur between grooms and keep it silky and shiny
- How to maintain a harsh terrier coat
- How to Keep a dog in full coat/maintain a breed standard coat in between grooms.
- How to maintain a pet trim in between professional grooms
